The University of the West Indies (The UWI) congratulates the Honourable Philip J. Pierre who was sworn in as Saint Lucia’s 8th Prime Minister on July 28. Prime Minister Pierre, an Economist and UWI alumnus, led his political party to win the country’s recent general election.

The Office of Administration at The University of the West Indies (The UWI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Tres-Ann Kremer as the new Director of the University's Institute of Criminal Justice & Security.

Ms. Althea Gordon has been appointed Campus Registrar of The University of the West Indies (The UWI) Open Campus. Ms Gordon’s appointment takes effect on August 1, 2021. She replaces Mrs Karen Ford-Warner who retires at the end of July 2021.
