The UWI Mona Campus has two locations, The UWI Mona Campus in the capital city of Kingston and The UWI Mona Western Jamaica Campus in Montego Bay. On-campus housing is available to full-time students and options range from traditional Halls of Residence to the more private apartment style living. Room options include single rooms, double rooms, studio apartments and super studios across our 12 Halls of Residence.

Living in a Hall of Residence at The UWI Mona Campus is not only safe and convenient, but provides a rich out of classroom learning experience. Let the good times begin!

Apply for on-campus housing for New and Returning Students:  

  1. Go to the Banner Student Administration System landing Page
  2. Click on the link "Enter Secure Area"
  3. Enter your student ID number and your assigned password
  4. Select the "Student" menu option
  5. Click on the link "Apply to Live on Hall of Residence"

Dining Options on Campus

There are numerous dining options available on-campus that provide a wide variety of tasty, balanced meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner and those snacks in between. Whether you want to grab and go or enjoy a meal while you ‘lyme’, there are many options to choose from. View our other on Campus Facilities. 

Cafeteria Services 

Concessionaries provide cafeteria services where delicious local cuisine can be obtained. Meal options available include vegetarian and vegan options.

  • Mary Seacole Hall - Mae’s Cafeteria
  • A.Z. Preston Hall Cafeteria 
  • Taylor Hall Cafeteria
  • ABC Hall Cafeteria (Located at The University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI)*)

Quick Bites

Several kiosks and food stalls across campus provide quick meals to go. Options include fruits, wraps, hot dogs, sandwiches, salads and hot meals.

 

  • The Bee Hive Kiosk (Located at the Faculty of Humanities and Education)
  • Boardwalk Cafe (Located at the Faculty of Social Sciences)
  • Nardo’s Food Stall (Located at the Faculty of Humanities and Education)
  • Pages Café Grab ‘N Go (Located inside the Bookshop)
  • The Spot Sports Bar and Grill (Located at the Students’ Union)
  • Campus Café (Located at The University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI)*)
